Arborstone has a large number of Kirin, or if you don't care about flags, there is a Kirin group or two right outside Kurzick-controlled territory in Pongmei Valley.

Much better drops (in general) from these than from Hulking Stones.

The problem with the kirin in Arborstone is that they are on the far side of the map from where you enter, so you have to go through wardens and dredge to get to them. That doesn't make for a quick farm, even if you can run past the warden and dredge groups.

Coming out of Sardelac Sanitarium, the hulkies are right there. They also aren't mixed with powerful casters (Dragon Moss), so they're easy to ball up. Frankly, if you think the hulkie farm is too slow, then Arborstone (or even Pongmei) will really drive you nuts.

Hulking Stones outside of (spelling is bad here) sadrick salieum or something like that. Its outside of Ascalon and is the Destroyed Ashford Abby.

Run around the circle there killing the stones in Hard Mode. This is where I got my Granite to make my Destroyer weapons.. a STACK a weapon... Geesh

Also try farming the hulking dudes outside of the Baradin Estate in PRESEARING. There is like 75 of them to kill in one run. I can get a stack of stones in about an hour farming. Just run them to post and use the salvage kit to turn the enchanted loadstones into Granite.

HM run gets you Diamonds -charcoal and other drops (100+ gold) from time to time so its a toss up. Ironically even though you get 9-11 stones a drop in hard mode the presearing run is just as fast with one a time.

You Can Get A Stack Of Granite From 3-4 Runs
(20Mins With Warrior/10 With 55 Monk)
From Old Ascalon
Doesnt Take That Long and Its The Easiest Farm Ive Ever Done.

I agree ~ the loop between the Sanitarium and Ascalon yields stacks and stacks in HM. I do try to avoid the run when the Grawl are in it though.

Although it's not the most profitable run...The Stone Elemental's are fun, time to time.As for granite they are the easiest source.( I could never bother myself with stone scale Kirin)
